Experience a vibrant procession featuring marching bands, vintage cars, community groups, floats, and local organizations coming together to honor Hamden’s rich history. Bring your family, wave your flags, and celebrate 200 years of community spirit!
Covered Bridge Run/Walk
Lace up your running shoes and join us for the Covered Bridge 5K Run or Walk on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM as part of the Hamden Bicentennial celebration! This scenic run/walk takes participants through the heart of Hamden and DeLancey, featuring stunning views and a historic route that includes the begins and ends at the Hamden Covered Bridge. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just in it for a stroll, this event is a great way to celebrate 200 years of history while staying active.

Celebrate America’s Pastime at the Hamden Bicentennial!
